This RF D.E.S.S. safety lanyard key is designed for Sea-Doo personal watercraft using the ball-and-socket RF ignition system. It functions as both an engine cut-off tether and an anti-theft key and must be programmed by an authorised Sea-Doo dealer to avoid diagnostic error messages. The same programming procedure is required when an OEM tether is purchased.
